Northern Kentucky University Science Center
In 2002, I was commissioned by Omni Architects to create 14 interior glass windows for meeting rooms within the new Dorothy Westerman Hermann Science Center at Northern Kentucky University. Designed as an integrated science environment, I met with the entire science faculty as well as with each department - biology, chemistry, geology and physics to discuss their research projects. This work is the result of an exciting collaborative process. The imagery was made as ink drawings and photographs of modeled porcelain objects that were translated into thermo-plastic layers fitted between two pieces of glass.
